Choose my fucking adventure

Started my choose your own adventure book on the 10th of June, 1989. I'm on the 16th chapter and as of yesterday afternoon, I thought I had chosen the best adventure because I was sharing them with someone which followed me on every page. But since last night, this person stopped following my pages, now he is nowhere to be found and it hurts like you wouldn't believe. I feel like I want to end my adventures right now.
